Steve Jason is set to release his new single ‘Obsession’ on Friday, 16th August 2019. Featuring Rap artist Chenkx, the London born entertainer brings the feel-good vibes with his fresh pop and urban sounds akin to some of his greatest influences including Michael Jackson, Prince, Bruno Mars and Stevie Wonder. Self-produced, Obsession was mastered by Paul Ashmore at Audio Animals (X-Men & Amazing Spiderman 2 soundtrack). 

Steve Jason has been honing his craft since childhood. The multi-instrumentalist has helped produce and performs tribute shows in theatres, arenas, and venues across the UK often supporting major acts. On top of this, he is an avid collaborator having worked with various musicians and rappers throughout his career including Dappy’s co-writers on a number of projects,  which have gained media attention.  

‘Obsession’ follows the story of a man who is completely infatuated by his love interest to the point where he is questioning his own sanity. It looks at how everyone in life can get starry-eyed when they find that special someone. Inspired by his own personal experiences and Obsession is set to a nostalgic urban track, which allows Chenkx rapping to flow seamlessly blend with Steve’s angelic voice perfectly.  

With an album currently in the works, Obsession is but a taste of things to come from Steve Jason, he is sure to be one to watch a big artist in the making.
