Archive methodology

Keep the history honest.

Seven source classes

Original design: images, copy and layout extracted from the 2020 Adobe XD source. A design is not proof that every draft page went live.

Archived public text: text recovered from a named Wayback/public page and edited for reconstruction.

Public portfolio: an artist/project entry known from the historical public site or its archive index.

Website portfolio queue: a later internal list explicitly identifying artists to add to the website; the name is preserved but no public campaign outcome is inferred.

Historical client roster: professional artist/project name recovered from the 2022/23 client roster. Contact details are excluded and a roster listing alone does not prove campaign scope or outcome.

Final-report metadata: attachment title and sent date recovered from bounded searches of the Mastermind sent-mail archive. This establishes that a report attachment existed in that record, not that every result inside it has been independently audited.

Quotations said at the time: words published on Mastermind’s own pages, copied word for word from the Internet Archive capture that dates them, with each speaker’s name and role as the page printed them.

What has not been published

Private email bodies, contact lists, historic passwords, client email addresses, unpublished staff information and credentials are excluded from the public build.

No invented completeness

The wall is complete only for the records currently recovered. Missing clippings, recordings, article bodies and dates remain identified as missing rather than silently reconstructed.
